1. All facilities (Chapel, Cemetery, Reunion Grounds) are co-located
in northwest Walker County on FM 1696, about half way between Huntsville
and Bedias. The emergency (911) address is 1251 FM 1696 West,
Huntsville, TX 77320. Map
2. Our facilities are available for rental. As a general rule, we grant
access to our facilities only to descendants of John McAdams, Jr. and
their families. However, we do make exceptions in special circumstances.

1. All deposits are refundable upon clean-up.
2. Our facilities are non-smoking (in and around buildings).
3. Alcoholic beverages are strictly forbidden!

Interment fee: $100.00 (burial only).
Chapel fee for funeral: $100.00 plus a $50.00 refundable deposit.
Chapel family room fee for meal or gathering before/after funeral: $100.00 plus
a $50 refundable deposit.
Policy: To obtain a burial plot in the McAdams Cemetery, the individual
must be a direct descendant of John McAdams Jr. This includes the spouse
of any descendant of John McAdams, Jr. All other requests for burial
plots in the McAdams cemetery must be approved by a majority vote of the
Board of Trustees of the McAdams Cemetery Association. (9/8/2012)
1. Burials must adhere to all state requirements.
2. Graves must be aligned east-west.
3. Liners or vaults are optional.
4. Cremated remains must be in containers and placed three feet over
existing plot.
5. The MCA board must be notified in advance of all burials.
6. Markers and monuments must be set within one year of burial.
7. Excess dirt must be placed inside the west service gate (on Bedias
side) near the existing dirt/rock pile.
8. All gates must be closed and locked after the service.
9. An MCA Board member must be present for the
marking of graves prior to digging, gravedigger access and monument
truck access.
