The mission of this site is to present the history of the Hiram A.
McAdams family of Walker and Grimes Counties, Texas.
The scope of this site is generally limited to the immediate family of
Hiram Augustus McAdams. However, it would not be possible to examine
this family without taking a look at preceding generations.
Therefore, you will see detailed information on the Hiram McAdams family
and limited historical/genealogical information related to the larger John McAdams,
Jr. and John McAdams, Sr. families.
The Hiram A. McAdams Family web site (MCADAMS.ORG) is provided to the
public to be used primarily for research into the history and genealogy
of the McAdams family of Walker County, Texas and certain other related
families. This is a non-commercial site, and nothing posted here may
used for commercial purposes of any type. The goal of this site is to
provide a central place for the collection of historical material
related to the included family lines.
